Incorporating technology into the Foreign Language Classroom

Presentations will include:

  • Online education: Is it possible to teach foreign languages online?

  • Discussion Boards: How to use them effectively

  • Designing WebQuest projects

  • Power Point presentations: Creating projects for teachers and students

  • Online surveys: Tools for peer evaluation Presenters:

  • Dr. Pilar Munday: Assistant Professor of Spanish, SHU

  • Dr. Mark Mascia: Assistant Professor of Spanish, SHU

  • Marķa Caracuel: Adjunct Professor of Spanish, SHU; Weston High School teacher, Coordinator World Language Curriculum

Interested audience: k-12, community college, and college professionals
Participants will be able to receive CEU credits for the participation. Refreshments will be served after the workshop.

There is a $30 fee for the workshop.
A map with directions to SHU campus will be sent to workshop pre-registrants. We are located at about 20 minutes from the Yale campus (South on I-95 or the Merrit Pkway)
